Semi Sherwanis

Sherwanis is a long coat-like garment worn in South Asia, very similar to an achkan or doublet, is traditionally associated with the Muslim aristocracy of the northern Indian subcontinent. It is worn over the Kurta and Churidar, pajama, a salwar. It can be distinguished from the achkan by the fact that it is often made from heavier suiting fabrics, and by the presence of a lining. Sherwani originated as a fusion of the salwar Kameez with the British frock coat. Now a days it is popular among grooms as their wedding dress but with some elegant work of zardosi, cutdana, aari taari and many more Indian artistic designs hand made as well as machine crafted. This semi word used for this category because of the reason that sherwani made in this section is interlined half, there is no chest piece used, shoulder pads are very thin and the measurement is little bit loose. You can consider it as kurta-pyjamas section.
